Mozilla Firefox is one of the world's most
used web browser, after installing a new operating system, take Windows for
example, one of the basic things to do is to download and install a web browser.
We are used to downloading Mozilla Firefox through the default Internet
Explorer, which is often slow. You can easily download Mozilla firefox from
Mozilla FTP (File Transfer Protocol).
If you have just installed a new Windows
operating system, then you can download Firefox without using internet
Explorer.
Step 1: Open My Computer
Step 2: Copy this URL to the address bar of
“My Computer” Window
ftp:\\ftp.mozilla.org
Step 3: press Enter
You'll see three folders "Pub", "README" and "index.html"
Step 4: double-click on “Pub” folder, and then double-click on "Firefox" folder, then "Releases"
Now you will see a folder containing
different versions of Firefox available for download, select the version you
want to download.
Step 5: Another set of folder will appear representing
different operating systems, select yours.
For windows, double-click the "Win32" folder
Step 6: Select language from the list of
folder “en-us” for US-English.
Copy the setup file to any folder on your
system.
When it's done copying, double-click to
install. That's all
