Konga hosts facebook delegation in Nigeria

Yesterday the 30th of January  2014, konga.com, a Nigerian E-commerce platform hosted the delegates from Facebook. the 12-man team was lead by head of Facebook in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Nicola Mendelson who expressed Facebook's satisfaction with the Konga's interraction with facebook users in Nigeria and the positive feedbacks the users gave about the platform and also said they hoped to become better partners in the future.

In what was widely assumed to be a Cyber attack that took place on Tuesday, 21 of January, 2014, the entire country was thrown into a state of dilemma as over 618 million people could not access the Cyber space. It was later reported that Chinese censors flubbed their management of the Great Firewall and had aigccidentally redirected a huge amount of network traffic to some domains they actually wanted to block, triggering a network overload

Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 will go out of Microsoft

The tech giant, Microsoft, has decided to remove Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows XP from its list of supported Products by April 8, 2014. According to Microsoft, this decision was based upon the fact that the support Lifecycle of each of these product had ended.
In 2002 the company introduced this Lifecycle policy based on customer feedback in order to have more transparency and predictability of support for Microsoft products. as a result of this, every new product or product versions introduced by Microsoft will have ten years of support from Microsoft and 15 years maximum.
