If
you love using Windows7 just like me, then you might at some point thought
changing its look as you can get bored with having the same look all the time,
so how about changing the looks a little. Here are some good ways to make your
windows7 look different from that of your friends and more exiting.
Taskbar Colour
One
of the most noticeable ways of changing your Windows look is by changing the
colour of the Taskbar and Start Menu. This little change makes a whole lot of
difference in your PC’s look. You can change the colours to whichever one you
like and make PC more fun.
Now,
here is how to do that;
Left
Click on the Desktop background on your PC screen
Click
on Personalise
When
the personalisation window appears, look at the four options at the bottom
right side of the window and click on Window
Colour
Choose
any colour you like
Click
on save changes to save your new
settings
You
can as well change the transparency settings just below the colours.
Microsoft Office Colour
scheme
If
you do a lot of typing and preparing word documents, then you might be making
use of Microsoft Word more often. Naturally, seeing the same look all the time
might be boring, so you could also change its look a little. Microsoft has a
feature that allows you to change its colour scheme and get a better look.
Here is how to change your
Microsoft Office Application colour scheme;
Open any Microsoft office Application
Click on the Microsoft Logo on the
top left corner of the screen
At the bottom of the drop down Menu,
click “Word Options”
Click on the “Colour scheme” and select the colour you want and click on save changes.
Taskbar Position
By
default, the taskbar is meant to be at the bottom of the screen. You can as
well change the position of the taskbar to any side of the screen. The taskbar
can be placed on the left, right, top or bottom of the screen, depends on which
is convenient for you. Trying new positions different from the bottom of the
screen is usually, awkward at first, but soon, you’ll love it.
Right click on the taskbar and go to properties
Go to the taskbar tab
Go to taskbar location on the screen and change the position to whichever
side you want and click on Apply.
Alternatively,
you can right click on the Taskbar and uncheck lock Taskbar
Now,
drag the taskbar to any side of the screen you want it to be
