Android is a mobile phone OS by Google. Android is my favorite mobile Operating System and there are so many reasons why I say so.
Availability of millions of applications
Google Play store
has the world’s largest collection of applications today with a staggering over
1 million Android games and applications. This gives insatiable smart phone
users like the chance to download as much apps as we want, thanks Google.
Notification System
The Android OS has
an amazing notification system that can’t be compared with Java Symbian or even
iOS. Android delivers notifications smoothly and real time by displaying them
on the top of your screen without interfering with what you are doing. If you
are working on your Music player for example and you received an SMS, it will
simply display at the top of your screen. It displays line by line so you can
read it without opening it or leaving what you are doing. And if you decide to
read it you just pull down the notification menu at the top of the screen and
select the message or any other notifications you have.
Large screen
The Android OS is
almost completely touch-base controlled, that’s why Android phones only have
two buttons; one for locking and unlocking the screen while the other is for
volume. Since everything else is touch-based, it wouldn’t be convenient to run
on let’s say 240x320 screen. The wide screen makes it easier for you to touch
conveniently.
Beautiful graphics
We also know that
the wider the screen, the better the gaming experience, internet surfing and
general graphics on the phone. Because Android OS relies solely on the display,
most Android phones run on HD screen which presents graphics as it should be;
super clear and lovely.
It’s User-friendly
One of the things
about the Android OS is the fact that it is user-friendly. No one taught me how
to use an Android phone, even when I was using it for the first time. It’s so
easy and fun to use, all you need to do is touch and swipe, it’s really fun. A
lot of technologies are now running touch-based, talk of smart phones, tablets,
and some desktop computers.
Multitasking
One of the most
fun part of using a smart phone is multitasking. This feature allows you to
open more than one application at a time and switch between apps. As a blogger,
this is one part I love about smart phone especially Android.
It’s from Google
I love Google, the
tech giant, from their nosy search engine to mail, to Google Apps for business
and so many other Google products. When you love something or someone, you’ll
love whatever comes from them or it. This amazing operating system coming from Google
is the best.
Incomparable
internet surfing experience
The image and text
quality of Android internet browser combined with the wide screen and HD
display makes internet surfing fun. when I first got my Android phone, the
first address I typed on the browser was obviously my blog www.techbuzzy.tk,
and I loved it when I saw that the exact same fonts I used on my the blog
displayed on my phone without being changed to the default font. Taht was the
first Thing that made me fall in love with Android
Compatibility with
apps without Google signature
Unlike Apple’s
iOS, Google’s Android allows you install and use Android apps that do not come
from Play store. All you have to do is change your phone settings and enable
running of apps without Google signature. Unlike any iPhone that you will have
to root in order to be able to use apps from other app stores. On Android, you
don’t have to root your phone except when you wish to use some applications
that requires root access such as Wi-Fi
Inspect (for hacking
Wi-Fi networks).
